The Mbody project and its staff are committed to respecting the confidentiality of the personal information we collect. We have created this Privacy Policy to illustrate our practices related to the gathering, use, disclosure, and management of your personal information. We invite you to consult it.
Should we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post these changes on this page so you can remain up to date with the information we collect, how we use them and the circumstances of their disclosure.
Use of cookies

To analyze cookies, we use the jetpack extension available on WordPress. These two services belong to Automattic. Automattic services are hosted on servers in the United States.
Cookies are collected in such a way that it is not possible to identify our users. You can withdraw your consent to share this data with us at any time by using the banner at the bottom left of our page.
Collection of personal information
If you decide to get involved in the project, here is the personal information we will collect:
- Last name
- First name
- Organization
- Title
- User type. The three main categories are: animator, academia or developer.
The information we collect may, depending on the information you send us, not be limited to this information. Personal information is collected through a pledge form, but can also be collected through an email exchange with us. If you exchange other personal information with us by e-mail, we undertake to use only the information required for the Mbody project.
We use this information for the following purposes:
- To contact you regarding project progress
- To invite you to join our collaborative platforms
- To establish a portrait of the community around the Mbody project.
Right of access, opposition and withdrawal
You may request that your personal information be deleted from our database. If you withdraw your consent, we will no longer be able to offer you the services that depend on it (e.g. keeping you informed of project progress).
You may also request access to your personal information, and ask us to correct or update it. To do so, you must send us your request by e-mail to the person named below.
Security
In order to ensure the security of your personal information, we have implemented the following security measures:

- Network monitoring software
- Computer backup
- Login / password
- Firewall
We are committed to maintaining a high level of confidentiality on our Web site. However, there is always an element of risk when using the Internet to transmit personal information, as no mechanism can provide absolute security.
Links to other sites
The Mbody website contains links to other websites. Information exchanged on these sites is not governed by this Privacy Policy, but by the privacy policy of the external site, if any.
Archives
No later than three years after the end of the project, MBody undertakes to destroy its database.
